A family-centred, international and student-friendly Church

We are first and foremost a family of God's people with a zest for life and a passion to live it to the full for Jesus.
As the largest group in the church are the 18's-30's comprising of students and young couples/families we have an emphasis on them. We have excellent creche, kids and youth workers as well as a dedicated team welcoming students and helping them integrate into the life and ministry of Waterfront.
Although we are predominantly young as a church the "not so young" are far from neglected, in fact we have a growing number who increasingly bring an eagerly received measure of wisdom and maturity.
Plymouth is now a very cosmopolitan city, with people of many nations and backgrounds. Waterfront not only reflects this diversity in its membership, but also oversees the award-winning Open Doors International Language School which works largely with migrant workers and asylum-seeker families. It's aim is to facilitate social integration and provide access to work for this marginalised section of the community.
Life Groups meet midweek in various homes throughout the neighbourhood. These are where the real nurture, encouragement and growth of Church members takes place as well as being the primary platform for our evangelistic outreach. Each Life Group is different in composition and flavour but shares the common direction and vision of the church as a whole.
